The second shot was something else


Oh boy! what to say about this project except that it was another world compared to my first one. The experience I gained from my failure during my previous Jam made so much difference in this one. My Class where more organized, I was more cautious with my encapsulation and I just plainly knew more than before. 

Yet, it wasn't an easy ride. For starting I missed the first 3 days of the Jam because I was with a friend, then i had to learn a plethora of new concepts like, scriptable Objects, sprite manipulations, pooling, wave spawners, UI and much more. The hardest part was for the bullets spreads. This was a nightmare! I passed so much time on it. Luckily I ended up finding a solution. It's still far from perfect but I'm really proud of the results.

I would have loved to add more polishing like gameplay feedback, more patterns ,better wave system and more. I'm happy with what I learned here and I'm sure my next one will be similarly more advanced than this one was next to my last attempt.
